Amazing performance from Loic Bruni yesterday in Windham on the 5th round of the World Cup. Only 18 years old, he missed the round in Mont St Anne because he had to take his exams, but went back in Windham and got his 1st podium with Elite riders.
This was a huge breath of fresh air for the FDJ-BigMat Team, who had been overwhelmed with bad luck for several weeks. Arthur Vichot, after breaking away with ten riders, won on Friday the fifth stage of the Criterium du Dauphine, offering the “Clover team” its first victory in the World Tour this year.
The 23 year old rider of the FDJ-BigMat achieved the greatest success of his young career in Rumilly, by winning the 5th stage of the Dauphiné Libéré. Arthur Vichot was among a ten riders breakaway, since km 60. He left the other riders on the final part of the race to ride and cross the finishing line alone. The last victory of the FDJ during the Dauphiné Libéré dated back to 2006 when Philippe Gilbert won the St-Galmier race.
Our riders did well during the 3rd DH WC in Fort William !
